I have over 16 years of diverse clinical experience working with both pediatric & adult-geriatric populations, teaching at the college level, and completing supervisory responsibilities.
-In pediatrics, I am specialized in treating preschool through high school age students with complex medical needs & disabilities in private therapy and public & private school settings.
-In adult & geriatric populations, I have strong experience evaluating & treating patients with speech, language, fluency, voice, cognitive, and/or swallowing impairments within skilled nursing facilities and their homes.
-At the college level, I instruct several classes within the Disability Specialist program of a community college as well as mentor adults who have an interest in SLP/SLPA as a career and/or require educational support to succeed in college.
-In regard to supervisory responsibilities, I am experienced at managing teams of tele-practice SLPs & Psychologists at school districts by scheduling and coordinating therapy, meetings, and evaluations. I have strong experience supporting therapists by troubleshooting challenges at the site level and communicating directly with administration. Additionally, I enjoy supervising a clinical fellow for the Supervised Professional Experience (SPE), which is required for licensure and ASHA certification.
